Securing Manufacturing’s Transition to the Cloud: Research Survey

Understanding How Manufacturing Organizations are Managing Their Digital Transformation Journey

Take the 5-minute anonymous survey now!

Everything is moving to a data-driven digitally connected world, but secure digital transformation is a challenge for all sectors, potentially opening up new vulnerabilities in an expanded attack surface. It is especially challenging for manufacturing and industry where legacy equipment has slow replacement cycles, is often designed without security in mind on the basis that physical access was restricted, and any halt in production for updating can cause substantial losses or even endanger lives. Yet the economies to be had by utilising cloud services need to be grasped, the efficiency gains from new data insights need to be exploited, and once-isolated plant needs to join the connected world.

This research project aims to consider how manufacturing is different from other sectors when it comes to implementing a successful digital transformation strategy, what the limitations are and how others are tackling them, and how cloud transformation can contribute to this journey.

Please take five minutes now and anonymously participate in our survey, Securing Manufacturing’s Transition to the Cloud.

The goals of the survey include:

  • Provide CISO perspectives on how to manage a security program through the cloud transformation
  • Explain the challenges and opportunities of using the cloud for Manufacturing industry
  • Identify best practices and lessons learned from a security perspective
  • Benchmark approaches and their security maturity
