In an interview with Information Security Media Group as part of the CyberEdBoard's ongoing Profiles in Leadership series, recorded at RSA Conference 2022, Sima talks about:

  • The top challenges in his role;
  • The shifting threat landscape;
  • The value of collaboration with peers.

Sima focuses on keeping customers safe. Prior to Robinhood, he was vice president of information security at Databricks, a leading data analytics and machine learning company. Before that, he was a managing vice president at CapitalOne and prior to that, he founded SPI Dynamics and BlueBox Security, which were acquired by HP and Lookout, respectively. Sima is attributed as one of the pioneers of application security, holds multiple patents in the space and is the author of "Web Hacking Exposed."
