Information Security Media Group (ISMG), publisher of InfoRiskToday, BankInfoSecurity, HealthcareInfoSecurity and numerous other global media sites, is pleased to announce the hiring of Varun Haran, India-based Principal Correspondent for Asia & the Middle East.
Haran, who has been in the Indian technology writing market for four years, brings an extensive knowledge of enterprise technology related topics for a CIO, CISO, security and IT practitioner audience.

Prior to joining ISMG, Haran was a correspondent with InformationWeek. In his time there, he also managed the India Computer Security Conference (ICSC) and was involved in putting together the first edition of the Ground Zero Summit. Prior to InformationWeek, Haran wrote for TechTarget, where he managed SearchSecurity.in and also wrote for TechTarget's other technology properties.
