Schiappa is senior vice president and general manager at Sophos' end-user and network security groups. He is responsible for product strategy and management; architecture; research and development; product quality; and release plans for both the network and end-user security groups, including recent innovations in next-generation endpoint and firewall products. Previously, he served as senior vice president and general manager of the Identity and Data Protection Group at RSA, The Security Division of EMC. Also, he held several positions at Microsoft Corp. and was the CEO of Vingage Corp.
